Once the cables are connected turn the tester on to begin the test. To begin the process the person will connect the ethernet cable tester to the required cables. After being properly tested the device will let the person know if their cables are working as they should be or if they have some faults. Purchase an ethernet cable tester. Here is a picture of the manual. However i get only 8 without g although the cable is in working condition.

I have bought a network cable tester and in the manual it said that all lights from 1 8 g should light up in sequence. Check that all 8 lights on the tester light up. The product s model is ns 468. The tester will cycle through 8 positions and a ground connection each represented by a light on the tester.

Plug cable into the transmitter. Since the cable isn t grounded the ground position won t light up.
